Safety Noise Team:0131

related antisocial behaviour. If you're
suffering from antisocial noise you
canreport it to the Council's Community
Safety Noise Team. This team aims to
be on site within 60 minutes, although
at busy times may take longer. Officers
are on duty every day from 5:15pm to
04:00am. Offenders can be given a £100
fixed penalty notice. Refusal to pay
may result in prosecution and a £1000
fine. Noise occuring between 04:00am
and 08:00am should be reported to the
Police.
Anti-Social Behaviour Hotline - 0131 529 7050 Report antisocial
behaviour. If you are affected by ongoing antisocial
behaviour, or need help and advice, you can conduct
the Council's 24hour AntiSocial Behaviour Helpline.
Mediation - 0131 557 2101 Mediation is a way handling disputes.
Mediation is a flexible process which can take place
face to face or by a series of private meetings. Working
with an impartial independent mediator, the parties
in dispute, rather than the mediator decide the terms
of any settlement.

issues that affect your quality of life and frequently
act as the first point of contact for many local residents

The Minor Injuries
Unit at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh is
open seven days a week from 8.00am to 9.00pm. No
appointment is necessary. It is staffed by specialist
practitioners and offers the following services:
Treatment for
a wide range of injuries, such as cuts, burns, sprains,
and simple fractures for patients aged over one year
Advice and health promotion is offered to all patients
who attend
Where appropriate / indicated: X-rays of limb injuries
for patients aged 12 years and over, physiotherapy
referrals, tetanus vaccination and simple analgesia
