The long running Winton saga continues. The developers, Miller Homes, have appealed the Council’s latest refusal of permission with the Scottish Government.
The application was objected to by over one hundred local residents, Fairmilehead Community Council and every single elected politician. By continually putting in applications and then appealing them, Miller Homes are treating the local community, in my view, with contempt. However, we must keep fighting these plans.
All previous objections will be carried over and looked at by the Scottish Government. However, you may wish to submit further comments directly to the appeals division. These should be sent to the address below by 29th March:
Directorate for Planning & Environmental Appeals, 4 The Courtyard, Callendar Business Park, Falkirk FK1 1XR 01324 696 400) email DPEA@scotland.gsi.gov.uk
The appellant's submission can be viewed on the DPEA's website at http://www.dpea.scotland.gov.uk/. Further information on the appeals process can be found on the Scottish Government website at http://home.scotland.gov.uk/home
